If you've ever longed to sleep in the shadow of a 747-and
really, who hasn't?-check out MSI's Snoozeum, a rare opportunity to
catch your zzz's at one of Chicago's premier science spots.
Families with kids 6-12 can explore the museum after everyone
else has gone home, complete with a scavenger hunt through the
exhibits and some science activities. We don't think any exhibits
will come to life, but we're guessing that coal mine gets pretty
creepy after dark.
Sign up soon; this event fills up early. 6 p.m. June 22-8:30
a.m. June 23. $45, includes admission, activities, snack and
breakfast. Museum of Science & Industry, 5700 S. Lake Shore
Drive, Chicago. (773) 684-1414, msichicago.org.
