A weekend full of ribs? It’s OK, go get messy! From noon-10 p.m. Thursday-Sunday, the Exchange Club of Naperville is hosting the 22nd Naperville Ribfest. Dig into the featured BBQ contest, which includes 17 rib vendors and food ranging from ribs and hot dogs to salads, snacks, desserts and drinks.
Kids and parents will have their eyes to the skies this weekend. From 3-11 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday, the 29th annual Lisle Eyes to the Skies festival has lots of fun events to keep everyone entertained. The festival hosts 15 large hot air balloons. For three days, the hot air balloons take off at 5 a.m. and 6 p.m., and the spectacular Balloon Glow is at 8 p.m.
