    Get your tickets here

If you missed your chance to see Hannah Montana live, don’t worry. Two lucky Chicago Parent families will have a chance to see “Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert” on the big screen and in 3-D, courtesy of Classic Cinemas. The show's engagement has been extended through Feb. 14 and will have several show times to choose from at the Charlestowne 18, 3740 E. Main St., St. Charles, or Lake Theatre, 1022 Lake St., Oak Park. To win, tell us what your favorite baby book was as a child and if you read it to your kids now. Once you have posted, e-mail your answer, name and your Chicago Parent ID to e-dition@chicagoparent.com. You must post and e-mail us for your answer to be counted. We will not release your information-it is purely for contact purposes. Winners will be chosen at random and may have no affiliation with Wednesday Journal Inc. or its employees.

My favorite book as a child was Green Eggs and Ham and I still love reading it to my 6 year old daughter. She would think I was the coolest mom in the whole world if she got to see Hannah Montana!

    Re: Get your tickets here

I'd have to say my favorite book as a child was Hansel and Gretel. I was sad when the children were left in the forest, but I was happy in the end when the kids re-unite with their dad. I did read it to my older son when he was little, but not to the younger one because I have the book somewhere in storage!!

My favorite book as a child was In a People House.  I started reading it to my kids when they were little and know as they learn how to read they are reading it to me.

My favorite book as a child was Shake You Sillies Out by Raffi. I actually just found it at my mom's house the other day! I just read it to both my kids and they loved it. It's a great book because it's interactive and gets you moving!

Where the Wild Things Are was my favorite book as a child. I still have the one from my childhood with an inscription my mother wrote to me. When I read it to my children, I am reminded of the times my mom read to me. We like to act out Max and the Wild Things. I love the ending when his dinner is still hot.

The book that stands most out in my mind is "Johnny Appleseed".  I remember I loved that story so much. Until now I forgot about it. I do still have some of my old childrens books.  So  I'll have to try and look for it. Or rent it at the library.

My favorite book was "The Pokey Little Puppy".  I find it ironic as an adult because I am typically running a little behind and have missed out on some treats because of it just like the pup :-)  Yes, I most definitely have read it to my children and will again!

    Re: Get your tickets here

My favorite book was "the B Book". My Mom tells me that we brought it on a flight from South Carolina to Seattle and by the time we landed the man in front of us could recite it. I still have my copy and all 3 of my kids were read it.

My all time favorite was Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat and my kids love it when I read it to them now.
