They work to develop the sensory-cognitive skills necessary to both decode the word and comprehend the word. Through both aspects, reading fluency is increased. My son attended the center intensively for four weeks and I watched his comprehension level jump tremendously. I also have the extreme pleasure of working there and see many children, of many different ages, with many different reading difficulties go through the program to come out with a much better handle on reading, spelling, reading fluency, and comprehension.
