Cosmotot

Flight Club

There's nothing cuter than a smiling, goo-goo-ing baby gearing up for her first flight, until he starts screaming like a banshee once the ear pressure/tummy gas/wet diaper/general overtiredness sets in. Then he looks just about as sweet as a filled-to-the-brim barf bag or at best, like a scruffy, wild-eyed Leonardo DiCaprio in "Catch Me If You Can" once the feds corner him in the can.

Either way, it's really not a pretty picture.

Till now.

Planewear, a unique purveyor of aviation-themed apparel for infants and toddlers is the latest arrival in the terminal, and is quickly becoming a first-class favorite for jet-setting tots, with 100% Peruvian Pima cotton tops, bottoms, bubble hats, booties and a travel blanket (shown at top left, $15+), all embellished with a range of clever wordsmithery like "Carry On," "First Class," "Precious Cargo," and the ever appropriate "Jet Setter."

Even teeny preemies have their choice of two sweet onesies that read "Early Arrival" and Cosmotot's fave, "Little Angel (I Have My Own Wings)."

Tots have more sophisticated yet playful options to choose from, including tees with glittery graphics and metallic accents saying everything from "Runway Model" to "Future Pilot."

Don't miss the hilarious chicken-and-cow embroidered bib bearing the age-old question that every seasoned traveler has heard at least 1,000 times on international flights, "Chicken or Beef?", and the very John Travolta-esque infant coverall designed to look just like a vintage flight suit.
