Or in this case, whoever smelt it is quickly going to find out that dealing with a diaperload of um, compost, isn't exactly going to smell as herbally fresh as a lavender-filled lingerie sachet.
Babyish, new sister company to Weddingish, is full of good clean cheek with its line of 100% mischievous, 100% cotton onesies, tees and organic garb bearing hilarious messages like, "If the shoe fits, buy it for me" (I think I used to have that tattooed on my forehead before Wills came along), and "It's Not Lavender" (shown at top left, $24) with girly embellishments like small sequins, sparkly crystals and tiny rosette bows.
And, since the company started out as an online store solely dedicated to a bride's flights of fancy, along with all of the tanks, hoodies, favors and gifty stuff that come along with the whole betrothal event, Babyish is similarly packed with reasonably priced, cute-without-being-cavity-inducing shower and baby gifts, too.
Take their absolutely charming Little Princess Piggy Bank (shown at bottom right, Little Prince version also available, $24) for example.
There's no better way to save in style than with a blushing pink piglet, all rosy cheeked, dotted with hearts and bow bedecked, with an additional organza tie on top in case you somehow missed out on all of the other frippery.
For those looking for something beyond luxuriously, Babyish offers the preciously posh Cashmere Puppy Growth Chart and Pillow Gift Set (shown at bottom left, available in Bunny and Duckie sets, too, $40) to keep track of all of baby's sprouts.
The set includes a sweet plush puppy in the form of a handy-dandy growth chart, marked between 25 and 60 inches, with super cute growth markers shaped like a bone, puppy, and a puppy paw.
Between growth spurts, baby can lounge on the coordinating butter-soft booster pillow, which is specially designed to provide support and comfort to itty bitties of all shapes and sizes. You can even have it personalized up to 13 characters in embroidery to make give your gift the tiniest edge over all the others.
Cosmomama says there's more in the details:
There's no doubt that the majority of the gifts and garmetns at Babyish are gorgeous, but celebrating the brand in acknowledgment of that would make more sense to me than labeling the garments with tags that say "Weddingish." Maybe it's the former advertiser in me talking, but getting a fabulous baby goodie with that moniker on it kind of muddles the message.
