Honestly, it's hard to say.
You'd have to ask Camper, an insanely popular, 200% eclectic, geocentric Majorcan shoemaker - and new Cosmotot fave (like you had to ask) - that has been around for more than a century and has seen four generations.
Originally inspired by peasant footwear, its rich cultural, historical and geographical ties inspire its cheeky-casual must-have collections built around quirky designs, like pairs that have secret messages tooled into the soles, or its unusually cool kids’ Twins line (Mary Jane Ballerina shown at top left, $79-$110), where the shoes don’t match on purpose.
And this way, if your independent kiddo insists on dressing herself in the morning, mismatched shoes will be the least of your fashion-clash worries.
Although, I think Camper would totally dig pre-school inspired fashions featuring fashions straight from the playroom catwalk, a.k.a. glittery tutus mixed with stripety legwarmers, wellies, an Elmo jammie top and some sort of headgear from a Halloween costume.
