Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow Already

Oh, the weather outside is frightful .... and frankly, it's about time.

Wills has only had one chance so far this winter to go outside and alternately play Eskimo and Abominable Snowman (although the latter really only kicked in once it was time to go inside to warm up those ruby-red cheeks and tiny, slightly runny Rudolph nose - why is it that kiddies would rather choose frostbite and toe-loss instead of going inside to warm up for five minutes?) in piles and piles of mile-high snowdrifts while I balance the roles of photographer and official fisher outer of boots buried in six feet of snow.

But, from the looks of the blizzard going on outside, he's going to have another gloriously snowy chance this afternoon.

An easy-to-zip, one-piece way to keep tots toasty as they explore the vast arctic tundra of the backyard is in the Zebra Onepiece Snowsuit from Kushies (shown at top left, front detail shown at bottom right).

The snowsuit's brightly colored, quilted outer shell is packed with plush, cozy poly cotton batting to repel wetness and the elements from the outside, and its super-soft faux sherpa lining (nylon at the ankles and calves for additional water-repellent action) keeps baby cozy and warm on the inside.

Better yet, the snowsuit comes with an attached pair of color-coordinating booties and mittens (along with a plush mini zebra) designed to give baby loads of snow-tasting time.

Just stay away from the yellow kind. $77
