Spreading Joy, Not Sugar Cookie Schmutz

Ah, the holidays.

A great time to nosh, nibble and let's face it, stuff our faces while basking in the warm Christmas glow of that traditional high-fat, calorie-laden comfort food smorgasbord.

Just thinking about all the chocolatey, pepperminty, oven-baked, gravy-covered, extra-buttered yumminess to come makes my mouth water.

Thinking about the mess Wills makes while munching and gesturing (watch the crumbs and goop fly) merrily doesn't.

I mean, yes, I'm psyched that he can feed himself - sometimes with utensils - but overall, eating is still primarily done medieval style, which means that neatness definitely doesn't count.

However, a good way to keep all that schmutz from spraying onto the table, or from hitting Aunt Hildegaard smack dab in the middle of her forehead, are with Big Wipe-Off Bibs (Cedar Bluff pattern, shown at top left) from Baby Dry Goods.

The extra big (duh) bibs are not only funky, fun and ultra trendy, but they're well constructed, too, and do a great job at keeping baby's chest and shoulders covered comfortably and securely while providing the rest of the group gathered around the dinner table some colorful eye candy in the form of mod fabrics with frou-frou names like Cadeaux, Luxe, Matisse, and Tea Garden.

Too bad they don't make them in bigger grown-up sizes for those messier-than-baby guests who seems to spill as much food as the wee ones do.
