For those creatively minded mamas and papas who are the teeniest bit apprehensive about dipping their toes in the modern, even contemporary, nursery decorating pool (ahem, like me), Tot Dots offers a range of hip yet approachable animal characters on everything from drawer knobs to night lights to wall clocks to framed prints to complete layette sets and more.
This socially responsible company - acquired by Social Ventures in 2007 with the goal to help out those less fortunate than our own sweet cherubs through various philanthropic ventures while at the same time lessening its environmental footprint on society - even came up with eco-friendly coat racks (like the elephant version, show at top left) that are crafted from solid birch wood, fitted with four of Tot Dots' high quality, extremely durable ceramic drawer knobs, then finished with an environmentally safe (and better for baby) coat of paint. 
Cosmotot's pick is the fanciful drawer pulls that stand up to the toughest toddler hands that are way too specialized in less-than-gentle drawer opening and closing ... and drawer opening and closing some more. Apparently that's a new phase the Willby has just started getting in to with more, um, gusto.
The included screws (two lengths - one shorter and one longer) ensure ease of installation right away, and with a range of designs and stylish colors to choose from - the spider, caterpillar, bee (shown at right), elephant, mouse, dog, pig and monkey are especially popular around here - there's something to suit every nursery-turned-MOMA. $8.99+
